Issue one, I4 Days Later pays homage to the Zombie classic and the opening of the ‘The Day of the Triffids’ with a reversed ‘Kill Bill’ Uma Thurman hospital scenario for the main hero, but there are no zombies or killer plants in this comic book. The story is actually closer to the 1970’s BBC TV classic Survivors as a group people come to terms with the realisation that they are now the only hope for the human race in a world devastated by global warming and a worldwide pandemic. Luke Johnson has been in an induced coma for 14 days and is only brought out of it as the hospital is evacuated, but there isn’t any room for him on the final convoy out of London as his chances of survival are low, so he is left behind. |
A life that he is destined to live in the confines of the Village, that is the home of his three rescuers and the others who have survived the pandemic.
This comic contains lots of nudity, scenes of sexual nature and is strictly adults only.
